When I turn it on and boot up, enter my password and am given my desktop, I have about a 4 minute window to do anything I normally would do before it freezes and I have to shut it off with the power button. Without even opening the internet (IE) I get all these pop-ups from the internet for 'Antivirus 2009' and/or 'Virus Remover 2008' which want me to of course download and allow them to 'scan' my PC for viruses and the like. But when I X out of these windows and/or cancel the downloads, the computer freezes and nothing works, not even ctl+alt+del. I have to hold the power button down until it shuts off. I am so flustered with this problem. Its called Antivirus xp 2008 This thing just jumped on my computer and I can't uninstall it. I am runnind Comodo firewall and it was asking me about allowing a program and I might have allowed it on. Keygen for mac. Jive will not function with this version of Internet Explorer. I even tried going to the Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware website and downloading the program, but I didn't have enough time before it froze. My firewall is activated and I also use AVG free edition for protection, but I am pretty sure this problem has nothing to do with AVG. I have NEVER had a problem with AVG, except for the fact that it doesn't detect these malware rogues. Also, I checked my Privacy Settings under Internet Options and it was mysteriously set to 'Accept All Cookies' which I fear came from these rogue viruses. So I reset it to 'Medium High' and applied it and when I opened Internet Options again it was back to the 'Accept All Cookies' setting. So basically my laptop is completely screwed and I fear that I, too, am screwed if I can't get it back to normal. Can anyone at all help me with this? Thank you in advance!
